Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Patrushev met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. They discussed ways to boost cooperation in agriculture, fertilizers, food processing and other sectors.
New Delhi, September 25, 2025 – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, H.E. Dmitry Patrushev, called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in agriculture, fertilizers, food processing, and other areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Modi conveyed his warm greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin and said he looked forward to welcoming him to India for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.
Prime Minister Modi also shared on X:
“Happy to meet Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev at the World Food India 2025. We discussed ways to strengthen our win-win cooperation in agriculture, fertilizers and food processing.”
This meeting highlights the growing partnership between India and Russia in food and agriculture sectors, further adding momentum to the upcoming Annual Summit.
