
Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh meets students in New Delhi, urging them to pursue dreams with sincerity and national pride
New Delhi, September 8, 2025 — As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Navy Children School (NCS), Delhi, Raksha Mantri (Defence Minister) Shri Rajnath Singh interacted with the students and the Principal of Navy Children School, Delhi at South Block, New Delhi.
Addressing the students, Shri Rajnath Singh encouraged them to dream with purpose, pursue their goals with sincerity, and uphold a strong sense of national pride in all their endeavors. He urged them to remain humble yet strong, and to fulfill their duties in whichever capacity with honesty and respect. The Raksha Mantri emphasized that character development during formative years is crucial for shaping the future of children.
The Defence Minister lauded the role of Navy Children School, Delhi in shaping the character and aspirations of students through discipline, service, and patriotism. He acknowledged the important role of schools under the Ministry of Defence, stressing that these institutions are not just centers of academic learning, but also platforms that imbue the next generation with values of leadership, integrity, and responsibility.

During the event, Shri Rajnath Singh was given a brief overview of the vision and achievements of Navy Children School, Delhi. The students shared their experiences about how the school contributes to their holistic development. They also presented handcrafted tokens of respect, a Coffee Table Book, and the School Crest to the Raksha Mantri as a gesture of gratitude.
