Haridwar, September 17, 2025 – The Valediction Ceremony of the International Conference on “Faith & Future: Integrating AI with Spirituality” at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV) concluded a day of profound reflection and forward-looking dialogue, highlighting the harmonious convergence of technology and spiritual values.
The session was presided over by Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji, Pro Vice Chancellor of DSVV and Youth Representative of the All World Gayatri Pariwar, whose Presidential Address underscored the urgent need to align rapid technological advancements with ethical responsibility, spiritual wisdom, and humanity’s collective upliftment.
The ceremony commenced with the Indian National Anthem and the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, setting a tone of reverence and learning. The Honourable Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), delivered the Chief Guest Address, reiterating India’s pivotal role in fostering an AI ecosystem grounded in democratic values, ethical responsibility, and human-centric innovation.
Keynote reflections were presented by Mr. Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary at MeitY and CEO of IndiaAI Mission, while the distinguished Guest of Honour addresses featured global experts, including Ms. Jimena Alvarez, Prof. Stuart Russell, Prof. Robert Trager, Ms. Sneha Revanur, and Mr. Jaan Tallinn, each offering unique insights on the ethical, societal, and cultural implications of AI.
The ceremony also recognized exceptional contributions to the field with the Recognition of Excellence Awards, and felicitated all esteemed guests with momento tokens and the sacred offering of Gangajal, symbolizing DSVV’s unique blend of knowledge, culture, and spiritual depth.
