Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on March 31, 2026, to take part in several important events across the state. The visit will include inaugurations, foundation stone ceremonies, and public addresses in different locations.
In the morning, the Prime Minister will visit Gandhinagar to inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth. The event will take place on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. The museum highlights the history, culture, and spiritual heritage of Jainism with rare artefacts and modern displays.
Later, the Prime Minister will travel to Sanand to inaugurate the Kaynes Semicon plant. This facility marks a major step in India’s semiconductor development and will begin commercial production of advanced electronic components.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will visit Vav-Tharad, where he will launch and dedicate multiple development projects worth over ₹20,000 crore. These projects cover sectors such as roads, railways, power, health, urban development, and water supply.
The visit also includes the inauguration of the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, railway upgrades, tourism projects, and public infrastructure works. These initiatives aim to improve connectivity, boost economic growth, and enhance public services in the region.
The Prime Minister will address public gatherings at each location during the visit.
