
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tour a technology exhibition in Jerusalem, highlighting cooperation in AI, quantum tech, agriculture, and cybersecurity.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, accompanied by His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, visited a technology exhibition showcasing pioneering Israeli innovations across several sectors.
The exhibition featured leading companies and research entities specializing in Agri-tech, Water-tech, Climate-tech, Health-biotech, Smart Mobility, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Quantum technologies, Energy, Natural Resources, and Space.
Innovation and technology partnership is a key pillar of India-Israel bilateral ties. The two countries are working together under the India-Israel Innovation Bridge initiative to develop solutions for modern-day global challenges.
During the walk-through, Prime Minister Modi interacted with scientists, tech entrepreneurs, and CEOs of several companies and institutions. In the field of quantum and deep technology, Quantum Machines briefed the Prime Minister about developments at the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre, while Classiq demonstrated its work in simplifying quantum software development.
In health technology and artificial intelligence, AISAP, a start-up, presented its AI-powered point-of-care ultrasound system that provides real-time diagnostic guidance. The Horizon Scanning Division of Israel’s Ministry of Science and Technology showcased “Tech Scout,” an AI-driven tool for strategic risk detection and trend analysis.
In smart mobility, Mobileye demonstrated advanced sensor and chip technology aimed at reducing road accidents. In cybersecurity, Check Point Software Technologies highlighted its advanced threat prevention solutions and its collaborations in India.
The water and agriculture segment focused on sustainability. WaterGen demonstrated technology that produces drinking water from air. N-Drip showcased gravity-powered micro-irrigation systems designed to conserve water. Natural Offset Farming presented in-field post-harvest solutions to reduce food loss without electricity.
In climate and biotechnology, Remilk displayed precision fermentation technology for producing lab-based milk proteins. BarAlgae presented machine-learning-integrated microalgae cultivation systems. Mynora Bio showcased plastic waste management using specialized bio-conversion additives. The Geophysical Institute demonstrated high-resolution modelling for quantifying mineral resources.
In the space sector, Israel Aerospace Industries presented its miniaturised communication satellites and integrated Synthetic Aperture Radar systems.
During his interaction with innovators, Prime Minister Modi noted that the cutting-edge technologies on display hold immense potential to scale up India-Israel innovation, start-ups, and business partnerships, especially in agriculture, water management, healthcare, and digital services. He invited the companies to explore opportunities in India for investment, manufacturing, and technology partnerships.
The visit reaffirmed the strong and growing strategic partnership between India and Israel, with innovation and technology cooperation at its core.
