The Prime Minister expressed deep ties with Russia and urged for peace in Ukraine during his meeting with the Russian President.
The Prime Minister of India held a meeting with the President of Russia, expressing his pleasure at the engagement and underlining the importance of their long-standing ties. During his opening statement, the Prime Minister said that meetings with the Russian leader are always memorable and provide an opportunity to exchange views on key issues.
He noted that both countries have maintained regular high-level contact, and he welcomed the Russian leader’s upcoming visit to India in December for the 23rd India-Russia Summit. The Prime Minister said that 140 crore Indians are eagerly waiting for this important event.
Emphasizing the depth of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, he recalled that India and Russia have always stood together even during difficult times. He said that this cooperation is important not only for both nations but also for global peace, stability, and prosperity.
The meeting reaffirmed the strong bilateral relationship between India and Russia, with the Prime Minister once again extending gratitude to the Russian President.
