
The third India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) was held in New Delhi on 13 August 2025, where ministers from both countries discussed ways to deepen cooperation in trade, digitalisation, skills, and sustainability.
The third round of the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) took place on 13 August 2025 in New Delhi, India.
The Singapore delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong. Other members included Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs K. Shanmugam, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo, Minister for Manpower Dr. Tan See Leng, and Acting Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow.
The Indian delegation was led by Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, and Electronics and Information Technology, Railways, and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

During the roundtable, the ministers reaffirmed the strong relationship between India and Singapore, which is supported by economic links and people-to-people exchanges. They reviewed progress since the last meeting in Singapore and agreed to deepen cooperation in areas such as sustainability, digitalisation, advanced manufacturing, skills development, healthcare, and connectivity. They also discussed cross-border data flows, capital markets, semiconductor training, maintenance and repair operations (MRO), and the development of sustainable industrial parks in India.
The Singapore ministers also met Indian President Droupadi Murmu on the same day. They highlighted the importance of skilling cooperation and celebrated 60 years of diplomatic relations between India and Singapore. Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong conveyed Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam’s invitation for President Murmu to make a state visit to Singapore.
